Carry your toothbrush in style with this exclusive IMAX® Screen Washbag, made from the actual screen material of the UK’s first IMAX® theatre at the National Media Museum in Bradford. Designed exclusively by eco-fashion pioneers M-24, this washbag could also double as a pencil case.
IMAX® screens are made from a different material to normal cinema screens, the special perforated vinyl used is more reflective and brighter. The screen material used to make these bags was initially spray-painted silver to allow for more light to be reflected; spray painting the screen silver ensures light is reflected in a direct line from the screen while a white screen would refract the light and cause a ‘ghosting’ or blurring of the image. The screen IMAX® this bag is made from was recently taken down to allow for a digital upgrade to the cinema at the National Media Museum.
Handmade in England, the durable IMAX® Screen Washbag is wipeable with a waterproof lining and measures 22 cm x 12 cm
